Vision
A neon dark-circus baroque war pageant. Decadent royal banquets, cotton-candy pastel wigs, manic aristocrats and vintage generals in tarnished braid, while the city burns through the windows behind them. A punk anti-queen takes the whole spectacle apart.
The visual thesis is indifference. Everyone at the table is having a wonderful time and none of them will look up. The piece moves from that cold, candlelit interior out into ruins, and ends on a gold dawn.
Project bible
Five pages specifying the world before any frame was built: core concept, a master style prompt every shot inherits, the palette by role, and the world elements down to costume and set dressing. One source, so no frame gets re-invented.

Colour palette
The piece runs two registers. The banquet interiors and the ruins sit desaturated, which is deliberate and stays. The high-energy beats run saturated. The delivered values are measured across 250,500 pixels of the stills rather than picked by eye; the second row is the retrowave finish the cut grades toward.

The board
Eight panels, each carrying a shot description, a camera angle and a lighting note, mapped against the track so each beat has a frame to land on. The Cage, The Cry, Breach and Indifference, The DIY Rebirth, The Ash Ritual, Army of the Masonry, Feral Charge, Golden Sunrise.

Execution
Shots built against the board, each inheriting the master style prompt so the palette and the world hold from the banquet hall to the rubble. Where figures read as near-identical, that is the design. The court and the masonry army are written as ranks, not individuals, so sameness is doing the work.

Ready to shoot
The build is complete. World spec, colour direction, an eight-panel board mapped to the track, and an image set that stands in for the beats. Everything a shoot needs to stay on model is written down and approved against.
What greenlight puts into production:
- The remaining panels shot to the board, with teal restored to strength as the character accent.
- Frames to video through Runway and Google Flow Studio, working the first and last frame pairs so motion is bounded by approved stills rather than invented.
- Cut to the beat map, then graded to the retrowave target so the shift into gold dawn reads as a move rather than a lighting change.
